A game-afternoon with Mon Tresor in a local pub

We met with a few friends in a pub in Riedlingsdorf to play "Mon Tresor" together. We did this partly because some friends were interested in the game and partly to get to know each other better.

To start with, we live in a time when playing board games in a pub - at least in rural areas - is becoming rare again. Therefore, we attracted a bit of attention when we unpacked the game, set it up, and distributed the game pieces.

"Mon Tresor" encourages communication among up to six players. It is particularly interesting when players from different age groups play together. Besides getting to know each other, this also leads to very interesting discussions about the various answers to the tasks presented in the game.

The experience from several games is that each player gets the tasks they need at the moment. Someone who needs to come out of their shell more may have to answer many heartfelt questions or entertain the other players. Someone who is usually very communicative might get some "on the way" fields - where they can simply enjoy the game.

In our game, we particularly liked the "Do something good" fields. Here we could write down many things for the other players, which they will hopefully implement in the coming days.

After a very entertaining game, we reached the "Gate to Us" together. Through the game, we grew a little closer and had a lot of fun. Other guests were curious about what we were doing, and we were able to extend a few invitations for another game afternoon.
